En 1976, Henry Stone, le boss de TK, a voulu sortir un ultime album de votre duo avec George « Winners Together, Losers Apart », dont l'un des objectifs était d'essayer de vous réunir à nouveau. Pourquoi avez-vous accepté d'enregistrer cet album alors que rien n'allait plus entre vous et George ?
In 1976, Henry Stone, the boss of TK, wanted to take out an ultimate album of your duet with George « Winners Together, Losers Apart », of whom one of the objectives was to try to reunite you again. Why did you agree to record this album while nothing went more between you and George ?


Vous avez commencé à écrire beaucoup plus souvent aux débuts des années 80 ( notamment en signant chez Atlantic Records et en ayant déménagé à New York à la suite de votre divorce avec George ), contrairement aux années 70 où vous préfériez interpréter les chansons. C'était une sorte d'émancipation pour vous par rapport à votre passé ?
You began to write much more often in the earlies 80s ( notably by signing at Atlantic Records and by having moving in New York following your divorce from George ), contrary to the 70s when you preferred to interpret songs. Was it a sort of emancipation for you with regard to your past ?
